The Mall and D&G Outlets + Casa Emma Farmhouse (8 hrs) Feauturing some of the world's finest designers' factory stores as Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Loro Piana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Valentino, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana. Later we will visit a place suspended between two extraordinary wine realms: Florence and Siena. That is Casa Emma where the owners have been dedicated to welcoming visitors for years and explaining how excellent wine is produced from the initial rows of vines. After having seen the route undertaken by the clusters of grapes that pass from the vineyard, through a variety of procedures to the wine cellar, tasting time comes and wine can be taken together with Tuscan cheese and salami on a panoramic terrace or in the tasting room.
The Mall and Space Outlets + Coltibuono Abbey (8 hrs) It includes all the name-brand stores of the previous tour at The Mall plus the Prada's Outlet called Space, which also has designs by Helmut Lang, MiuMiu and Jill Sander. Just after that we will enter the charming hills of Chianti countryside to reach the one thousand years old monastery of Coltibuono. where man has made himself at one with nature and has succeeded in producing one of the most famous wines in the world while respecting the environment, its people, the seasons and the rhythms of nature. A responsible choice made with enthusiasm and determination. The tasting sessions (two hours) are preceded by a comprehensive visit and are accompanied by a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses.
The Mall and Space Outlets + Volpaia Castle (8 hrs) This tour takes to The Mall (Agnona, Bottega Veneta, Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Loro Piana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sergio Rossi, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, etc.) and Space (Prada, Helmut Lang, MiuMiu, Jill Sander, etc.) outlet centers. We later drive through forests and vineyards and reach Volpaia Castle, a small fortified village in central Chianti that retains a great deal of its original architecture. A guided tour which take at least one hour will explain all aspects of wine making from the grape to the bottle and during November and December after watching the olives being crushed by the huge millstones, visitors may taste the freshly pressed olive oil and the Chianti's celebrated wines.
